Let's begin by saving that not only this Mexican street food style restaurant servers amazing food, but they are doing amazing things by partnering with "One Feeds Two" organization that provides meals to children living in poverty. Feel free to check out their story here.
Now let's get back to business of FOOD! This place was started by 2 executives that started Naf Naf grill, David Sloan and Franklin Wiener. Personally, we are fans of Naf Naf so it's going to be interesting to see how this chain evolves, as they try to put their own spin on the Mexican street food by creating their own tortilla.
We have tried all the tacos this place has to offer and we must say, they are AMAZING! Everything tastes fresh. Both chicken and steak were done perfectly. To find a place that can cook all meats and fish to perfection, is difficult to come by, especially on consistent basis. Even thought we are not fans of chorizo, Invicto's chorizo verde stole our heart and just writing about it creates a craving we cannot resist. Simply put, go out and try it for yourself!
These tacos are very well portioned and can satisfy any craving. Personally, for someone who eats for two people, 4 tacos filled me up.
For those sweet tooth lovers, Invicto also offers something much more than tasty food; they offer churro shakes and paletas! We personally have not tried the churros shakes, but its definitely on our list to try next.
To summarize our Invicto experience, this place is a must try! Writing about this place makes us crave it, which is what good food intends to do. If you are in Naperville or Vernon Hills or simply passing by, stop by those places because it will be worth your while!
